Superior quality furniture
Operating ethically & sustainably
We are very proud of our team and the clients we work with
Sarah, it is your second time ordering with Starex; why did you choose to work with us again for this order?
We absolutely love the quality and versatility of Starex furniture and we know that it is built to last, which is why we decided to use Starex again.
What effects has your new, beautiful and quality furniture had on this early learning environment?
The play spaces in this Centre are very large, and the new furniture has been set up in a way that it creates very individual and divided permanent learning areas. This has resulted in a calmer learning space for the children. The children are more engaged in small group learning and its lovely watching the children engage in the learning space.
How important is investing in quality furniture that stands the test of time to Kentish Early Learning? Do you notice a difference with Starex pieces compared to others?
For us here in the NT, it is very important to invest in quality furniture that lasts. We have limited resources up in the NT, and the costs of freight is huge, so investing in furniture that will be with us for years to come is so important as it saves us money in the long run. In addition, a lot of cheaper furniture simply does not last in the heat and humidity of the region. Unlike cheaper furniture which is often made from a wood composite or particle board, Starex furniture are strong, solid and beautiful pieces of furniture.
How have your early learning community responded to the new furniture pieces?
The parents absolutely love the new furniture and can see a big difference with how the children use the furniture. The parents have said that the children seem more engaged in their environment now, and there is a sense of calm throughout the Centre.
